State of Emergency Declared in Ukraine
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine has decided to impose a state of emergency across Ukraine, excluding the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This decision needs to be approved by the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"The state of emergency in Ukraine is set to last for 30 days, with the possibility of extending it up to 60 days," said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
Regarding the potential imposition of martial law in Ukraine, he stated that it would be implemented immediately if necessary, but there is currently no such decision in place.
"As of today, there is no decision on mobilization in Ukraine; it will be adopted if required," the Secretary added.
