A Banned Substance Found in the Doping Sample of Armenian Boxer
During the Armenian Boxing Championship, a doping sample taken from Armenian boxer Lilith Dallakyan tested positive for a prohibited substance, Furosemide (S5 diuretics and masking agents). This information was reported by the Armenian Anti-Doping Agency.
“Dallakyan is temporarily suspended due to a potential violation of anti-doping regulations,” the statement read. “If it is proven during the investigation that the athlete did not violate anti-doping rules, a corresponding decision will also be published.”
It is emphasized that while the athlete's case is ongoing, the Armenian Anti-Doping Agency will not provide any further comments.
