Russia to Discuss 3+3 Format with Georgia

The head of the Federal Council's Foreign Relations Committee of the Russian Federation, Grigory Karasin, has announced plans to meet with Georgia's Prime Minister Zurab Abashidze, who is the special representative for relations with Russia, in March, according to TASS.

He stated that there is a need to "gather a team, come together, and seriously discuss the prospects." Karasin highlighted the various issues at hand, including bilateral relations, the 3+3 format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia with Russia, Turkey, Iran), and regional politics.

Additionally, he pointed out that there are problems between the countries regarding the resumption of flights, travel for citizens, and visa matters.
