VIDEO: The Invisible Side of the Metro. What Work is Being Done in the Subway

The invisible side of the Metro: Yerevan's most comfortable, environmentally friendly, fast, and safe mode of transportation—the metro—is about to turn 41 years old. Today, around 1,000 employees participate in ensuring the metro's uninterrupted, safe, and adaptable operation, many of whom are specialists with four decades of experience in the subway.

Every day, 50,000 to 60,000 people use this transportation system. In addition to the ‘visible’ staff for passengers, there are numerous employees in the metro whose work is equally vital and responsible.
