Attempt to Organize Sabotage at Oil Depot in DPR Foiled
The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) people's militia has announced the suppression of an attempted sabotage by Ukrainian security forces' reconnaissance-diversion groups at an oil storage facility. A representative of the DPR People's Militia explained that last night a sabotage group from the 'Vostok' special operations center, formerly the third brigade of Ukraine's special forces, attempted to infiltrate the territory of the oil storage facility in Yelenovka, controlled by the DPR, with the intention of detonating tanks, hoping they contained fuel and lubricants.
'Ukrainian Armed Forces militants attempted to carry out sabotage at a civilian infrastructure facility in the DPR... Thanks to the operational work of law enforcement representatives, it was also possible to avoid large-scale catastrophic consequences. Materials regarding the act of terrorism will be forwarded to representatives of international organizations, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General's Office for the initiation of a criminal case,' the statement said.
