VIDEO: Why They Reacted to Lukashenko’s Comments, but There Was No Response to Aliyev: Kocharyan Says He Knows Lukashenko Well
I know Lukashenko well. He can be accepted or rejected. He can be respected or not, but one fact remains that he says what he thinks. In reality, a state leader does not always have to say what he is thinking, but he indeed does so. This was stated by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, during a recent press conference.
“I found the reaction that occurred in Armenia, particularly from the ruling team, somewhat incomprehensible. What Lukashenko said could not simply be compared to everything that Aliyev has said. He made comments regarding Armenia, but there was a 0 response from here. Of course, Lukashenko should not have said it in that tone; this is my personal opinion. He should have remained within certain bounds of correctness. However, at the same time, I repeat that the President of Belarus said what others are thinking,” he added.
