Closing the Enemy's Military Convoy Route Was Not a Small Step, It Is One of the 'First Swallows': Vardan Voskanian

Iranologist Vardan Voskanian's post:   “Residents of Maghavuz in the Martakert region of Artsakh have closed the enemy's military convoy route heading towards Karrabakh, which is temporarily occupied by Azerbaijan, forcing part of it to turn back. This action, which may seem like a small step at first glance, is one of the 'first swallows' that announces the readiness and will to continue the struggle against the occupiers.

This means that Eternal Armenia can never reconcile with the hostile agenda imposed on us by barbarians and is once again ready to embark on a victorious liberation struggle.”

It is worth noting that early this morning, residents of the Martakert region of the Republic of Artsakh closed the road used by Azerbaijani military equipment heading to Karrabakh. Auroranews.am contacted Artsakh National Assembly deputy Metaksy Hakobyan, who reported that peacekeepers attempted to intervene and convince residents to open the road, but the locals remained resolute. Unable to pass, the Azerbaijani convoy had no choice but to turn back.

Hakobyan highlighted that a recently wounded conscript soldier had been injured in that very area. This border incident has ultimately crossed the patience of the residents. According to the deputy, the residents of Martakert point out that Azerbaijanis come through our villages as if they have the rights of owners, yet we are unable to use the roads that remain under their control, such as the part leading from Karrabakh to Armenia. Even in the areas under our control, the people of Artsakh cannot carry out agricultural activities.

The purpose of closing the road was to remind Azerbaijan of the trilateral declaration and demand adherence to its terms.
