Gegam Nazaryan, a member of the Armenia parliamentary faction, stated that the authorities are manipulating the situation by claiming that the opposition's goal is to uncover circumstances surrounding the 44-day war, yet they do not show up.

“I am amazed at how Arzrun Hovhannisyan comes in, enters that building, the commission, and looks at my face, after he told me for 44 days, ‘You know your son is alive,’ referring to all our sons... One should have realized that this is not a matter of gaining political dividends when gathering expert committees. We all see that the authorities want to blame the soldier and his commander, who lost their lives in the trenches on the first day of the war,” said Nazaryan.
