Illumination of Landmarks Turned Off in Major Cities of Italy
On February 11, the illumination of landmarks was turned off in major cities of Italy. This was reported by the Forbes Russia Telegram channel.
Protesters are attempting to convey their dissatisfaction to the authorities regarding the increase in electricity tariffs.
It should be noted that by the end of 2021, electricity prices in Italy had already risen by one third, and this year, by nearly 50%.
