Citizen Lost in Lake Sevan After Entering by Boat

On February 10, at 16:28, the Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that a citizen (V.O., born in 1965) had entered Lake Sevan by boat near the community of Karchaghbyur and had become disoriented due to fog. Assistance from rescuers was needed.

Emergency response teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including an operational group and two motorboats from the special water rescue unit and the firefighting-rescue unit, were dispatched to the scene. Rescuers located the citizen V.O. in Lake Sevan and guided him back to the shore.
