VIDEO: Some People Use Their Heads as Drums, Says MP
I want to talk about the discourse generated by our opposition, especially regarding judges and the justice system. Our opposition claims that there are judges who are scoundrels, as Gegham Nazaryan describes, and there are judges who are independent, magnificent, and glorious figures, said Vahagn Aleksanyan, a member of the Civil Contract faction, during a speech in parliament.
According to the ruling party MP, a judge who has issued a detention order for any of the opposition members is a scoundrel according to the opposition's logic, while another judge who has issued a detention order for a specific witness in a specific case is a glorious person, for whom protests should be organized.
“Mr. Vardevanyan speaks of the unnecessary and non-mandatory nature of detention. Now, some judge has made a detention decision, which should be examined; it has become an unimaginable phenomenon. Not to mention that a participant in the war, a squad commander or deputy commander, a person who has performed heroic deeds, is called a drum beater by the judge. Some people use their heads as drums,” Aleksanyan noted.
