Reservists' Training Gatherings to be Held: Draft Under Discussion

The Government of Armenia plans to conduct new training gatherings for reservists from April 15 to June 15, 2022. The draft of the government's decision has been published on the e-draft.am website.

It is envisaged to announce training gatherings for reservists registered in the first and second categories of the first group of reserves, including conscripts, junior officers, and officers.

Up to 724 citizens will be involved in the training gatherings, of which 566 will be from junior officer and conscript ranks, 30 from senior junior officer ranks, and 128 from the officer reserves.

The justification for the draft states that the acceptance of the decision is due to the necessity of enhancing and training the military skills of reservists registered in the first group of reserves.
