Lars Closed for Trucks

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed and difficult to navigate roads in the Republic of Armenia. The roads in the Aragatsotn region from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Amberd Fortress and the Qari Lake are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult to navigate for other vehicles. On the roads in the Syunik region, there is some black ice present.

Regarding Lars, based on information from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for trucks. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
