Language Clash and Mutual Accusations in the National Assembly

Sisak Gabrielyan stated that Lilit Galstyan is wasting state funds unnecessarily. The MP accused Lilit Galstyan of being absent from the sessions of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth, and Sports.

In response to Gabrielyan's statement, Lilit Galstyan from the 'Armenia' faction said that he is misleading the public. “In my speech, I clearly stated that I have made numerous suggestions regarding the draft law on 'General Education', which have been accepted. However, our main concern has been about the new management model, which has not been accepted, and our concerns have not been alleviated. It is our moral, political, and value-based right to accept or reject this project. Secondly, the same Sisak Gabrielyan has no moral, political, or legal basis to decide how I, as an MP, utilize my resources. And from a more human perspective, Mr. Gabrielyan, when we held an extraordinary meeting of our committee on Monday and I had class, I told you I was going to class. It would have been a bit more human and gentlemanly not to bring this trivial matter to this podium,” the opposition MP urged.
