Video: Did Relatives of Returned Armenian Prisoners Attempt to Break Windows of Investigative Committee Building? Clarification

Since yesterday, information has circulated in the media stating that during the interrogation of 8 Armenian soldiers returned to Armenia, relatives of the servicemen attempted to break the windows of the Military Investigative Department's building. Photographs of the broken windows were circulated as evidence.

Auroranews.am contacted Vardan Tadevosyan, the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee. In our conversation, he stated, “The published photographs have nothing to do with the Investigative Committee’s building. Furthermore, the news that relatives of the returned prisoners attempted to break the windows is not true. During the interrogation, there was tension among the relatives of the boys who were returned from captivity; they were anxious. However, after about 5-6 hours, the boys came out, and the tension subsided,” said the spokesperson of the Investigative Committee.

Details of the conversation with the Investigative Committee's spokesperson Vardan Tadevosyan can be found in the video.
