What Lured You to Become Deputy Minister? Khamaoyan Questions Grigor Minasyan, Brother of Mikayel

During a session of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on State and Legal Issues, Agnesa Khamaoyan, a member of the "Armenia" alliance, addressed the arrest of Boris Bakhshevan and posed a question to Deputy Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan.

"We can note that the nail in the coffin of justice is placed. What was the reason for your appointment as deputy minister? What lured you to accept the position?" Khamaoyan asked.

In response, the deputy minister noted that it was more of a speech than a question.

"You confuse your parliamentary activities with journalistic endeavors, but I will answer: The nail in the coffin was embedded in the past when there were never cases of holding judges accountable. This is a healing process, and we should all be happy that such discussions are taking place. I am in this position because I have years of experience working with the Minister of Justice, and I share the principles that the team holds," Minasyan said.

The deputy minister emphasized that he is trying to do something good with the experience he has.
