Box of test tubes labeled 'virus' left and abandoned: what happened at a Paris metro station
The Faidherbe-Chaligny metro station in Paris was closed and its staff and passengers evacuated after a box of test tubes labeled 'virus' was discovered. This was reported by the LCI television channel.
At around 19:20 local time, a man informed the police that an unknown person had left a box on the stairs of the station. Inside the box were 15 test tubes filled with a red liquid.
The station was closed for three hours. Nuclear, radiological, biological, and chemical inspection specialists, as well as police officers, were dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary data, the test tubes contained indicators for coronavirus tests.
