Heavy Snow in Adjara: Infrastructure Damaged

Adjara is once again covered in snow. The high mountainous regions of the province are continuously being cleared of snow. With the help of special equipment, roads connecting various villages are being cleaned. The Batumi area and New Boulevard are being cleared around the clock.

Due to the strong storm, waves have carried away sand and gravel, damaging infrastructure and flooding the coastal area.

According to weather forecasts, snowfall in the high mountainous region of Adjara is expected to continue for several more days.
