Closed and Difficult Roads in Armenia: Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads across Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to the Amberd fortress and Kary Lake are closed.

The Vardenyats pass is closed to truck trailers and difficult to navigate for other vehicles.

In the Saravan-"Zanger" section of roads in Syunik province, icy patches are present.

There is fog on the Goris-Kapan highway in Syunik province.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
