The Head of Berdashen Community Has Passed Away

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Artsakh reports that Mkhitar Sargsyan, the head of the Berdashen community, has passed away at the age of 39.

Mkhitar Sargsyan was born on November 9, 1982, in the village of Berdashen in the Martuni region of Artsakh. He enrolled in 1990 and graduated from Berdashen Secondary School in 2000.

From 2000 to 2002, he served in the Defense Army as a conscript soldier. In 2008, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Stepanakert's Grigor Narekatsi University, specializing in Theoretical Economics.

From 2014 to 2015, he served in the Ministry of Emergency Situations as a contract soldier.

In 2015, he was elected as the head of the Berdashen community and re-elected in 2019. He was not married.
