No Vaccine Used in Armenia is Registered: Lawyer Clarifies

The director of the law school, Ara Zohrabyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “The safety, efficacy, and quality of vaccines (medications) are checked during the registration process based on scientifically grounded criteria. I am publishing this document for those who do not know that there are NO registered vaccines against the coronavirus in Armenia. How can they be registered when the vaccines have not undergone complete clinical trials? And by accepting unregistered vaccines that are still in clinical trial phases, are we not becoming cheap, or more precisely, free test subjects? According to Article 25 of the Constitution, no one can be subjected to scientific, medical, or other experiments without their free and clear consent.

According to Article 14 of the Law on Pharmaceuticals, the subject (or legal representative) must be informed in writing about the experimental product, its safety, expected efficacy, the extent of risk, the conditions, purpose, and duration of the testing, actions to be taken by the sponsor in case of harm to health, conditions of life and health insurance, and guarantees for the confidentiality of their participation. Dear compatriots, if you ultimately wish to get vaccinated, then demand that the state enter into a contract with you that includes the conditions of your life and health insurance. Otherwise, later it might be said that you voluntarily came and got vaccinated at your own risk. WE AND OUR FAMILY MEMBERS REFUSE TO BE TEST SUBJECTS.”
