Displaced from Artsakh Stage Protest
Displaced individuals from Artsakh have taken to the streets again. This time, they are holding a protest in front of the Artsakh representation building.
“The governments of Armenia and Artsakh have cooperated in such a way that they have deprived us of the minimum support. We are unable to pay our rent today. We cannot afford the minimum rents and utility payments. Just as we demanded a long time ago, we continue to ask for refugee status,” said one of the displaced persons in an interview with reporters.
“Let them take care of the people's needs as they wish, but where are these people? We don't see anyone thinking about us. They say they will provide housing in Artsakh, yes, they can do that, but until then, we need money to survive somehow. Later, when they provide the apartments, we will gladly go live there. The issue is about the present; we have no money and need resources for survival,” he added.
