Putin May Visit Turkey in Mid-February

Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit Turkey in mid-February, reports the A Haber television channel.

Earlier, Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu stated that President Putin's visit to Turkey could take place after the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.

Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov mentioned that the Russian president would accept an invitation from Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to visit as soon as the epidemiological situation and schedules allow.

The visit, with the exact date to be announced after the Beijing Olympics, is expected to occur in the second half of February, according to the channel.
