Liquid Gas-Laden Truck Overturns
On February 2, at 4:25 PM, the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center received a report of a traffic accident on the Yeghagnadzor-Malishka highway, with casualties reported.
A operational unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a Scania truck loaded with liquid gas had overturned after veering off the roadway at the 126th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway. The vehicle, driven by A. S. A., born in 1982, struck a roadside barrier and rolled over, resulting in a fuel leak.
Rescue workers approached the driver and provided assistance with an ambulance; the injured individual was hospitalized in the Yeghagnadzor medical center, where their health condition was assessed as satisfactory. The rescuers halted the fuel leak, disconnected the truck's power supply, and secured the area.
