How Many of the Hospitalized Citizens Are Vaccinated? The Minister Noted That an Increase in Omicron Spread Will Be Registered

“At this moment, we have 1,543 citizens hospitalized, and I must emphasize that 256 of them are vaccinated, which clearly shows the significant impact of vaccination on the processes,” stated the Prime Minister of Armenia during a government meeting, addressing the situation related to coronavirus. He noted that the wave of omicron variant spread is expected to increase in the near future.

The Minister of Health also mentioned that the system is operating in a tense mode to organize prevention and provide medical assistance. “The system, according to the planned project, is moving to expand hospital bed capacity,” said Avanesyan.
