Baku Responds Negatively to Armenia's Proposals on Border Delimitation and Demarcation, Mirzoyan Says

Baku has responded negatively to Armenia’s proposals regarding border delimitation and demarcation, with various proposals receiving negative feedback. This information was provided by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a conversation with journalists.

“This is a consistent process, and there have been proposals that have been unacceptable for Armenia. We have repeatedly stated that we are interested in the border delimitation process with Azerbaijan,” emphasized Ararat Mirzoyan.

He also mentioned that Armenia is committed to the declarations regarding the establishment of security and stability mechanisms. “The Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of Azerbaijan, and the President of Russia agreed in Sochi that the parties would take steps to enhance security and stability in the region. We are one hundred percent committed to this declaration and our obligations. We are currently discussing with the Azerbaijani and Russian sides the security measures that, in our opinion, will create security and stability mechanisms in the border zone,” the Foreign Minister underscored.
