Armenia Has No Right to Set Conditions on Demarcation Issues: Bayramov
Two weeks ago, the Armenian side presented new proposals for the demarcation of the border with Azerbaijan. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a joint press conference in Baku with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto.
“The Armenian side has set certain conditions for starting the work of the demarcation commission between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Azerbaijan has stated that it can begin this process, but without any conditions,” Bayramov said.
According to him, there is no need for any "creative" approach to the issue of border demarcation, and international borders must be recognized. “Armenia, which has occupied Azerbaijani lands for 30 years, has no legal, political, or moral right to impose conditions on demarcation,” Bayramov emphasized.
