Turkey and Azerbaijan Declare They've Extended a Hand of Friendship to Armenia, Awaiting a Response: Arman Abovyan
Former MP Arman Abovyan's statement.
“All Armenian enthusiasts of the pro-Turkish 'era of peace' were 'greeted' yesterday by Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and his subordinate, the so-called Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, who stated that 'Turkey and Azerbaijan have extended a hand of friendship to Armenia and are waiting for a response.' I do not know what they have extended to the Armenians, but this is clearly not a 'hand of friendship,' but rather, most likely, a bloody axe or a yatagan. The Turks' 'friendship' with Armenians has always been built on Armenian blood; let us recall the direct threats made by half-Turk Aliyev just days before the destruction of Armenia or Erdogan's words that Greeks and Armenians are remnants of the Ottoman yatagan.
Well, I will not focus on the expressions of Turkic monstrosities. Of course, I understand that the current Pashinyan government simply ignores all threats from Turks and Azerbaijanis and often justifies the anti-Armenian statements of their Turkish friends, but everything has its limits, even the blatant national suicide to which these authorities are leading us.
And also ask yourselves, are the Turks and Azerbaijanis blind and deaf not to see how the current government of Armenia is doing almost everything they demand of it? No, the Turks are certainly not blind and deaf. Therefore, it is very interesting to see what demands their Turkish and Azerbaijani partners will make of the Armenian authorities this time. It is indeed very intriguing.”
