What Property Does Armenian Presidential Candidate Vahagn Khachaturyan Own?

The candidate from the ruling "Civil Contract" party for the presidency is Vahagn Khachaturyan, the Minister of High-Tech Industry, who is not affiliated with any party.

According to the analysis by "Hraparak," Khachaturyan has declared one apartment, one garage, and two plots of land. In the section for financial assets, he reported having 5,550,927 AMD, 6,032,020 AMD, and 163 USD. He also indicated having 15,000 USD in cash.

Regarding his income from work, it was noted that he received 2,666,000 AMD from Yerevan State University, Shushi Technology University, and Antarès, as well as 5,400,000 AMD from Hayekonombank.

It is noteworthy that former President Armen Sarkissian resigned nearly four years after being elected, emphasizing in a statement that the president lacks the necessary tools to influence radical processes in the internal and foreign policy of the country and nation during the current difficult times.
