Ukraine Values Everyone's Support, But the Greek Only Rely on Themselves: Zelensky on New Format

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has announced that the collaboration between Great Britain, Poland, and Ukraine is adopting a new format. This was reported by TASS.

“We are creating a new political cooperation format in Europe between Ukraine, Great Britain, and Poland,” he said while addressing the opening of the regular session of the Verkhovna Rada.

It is expected that the relevant agreements will be formalized on Tuesday during the visit of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to Kyiv.

Zelensky also stated that Ukraine's diplomatic support has been at the highest level since 2014. At the same time, he added that his country “values everyone’s support, but the Greek only rely on themselves.”

Earlier, media outlets reported on the creation of a new cooperation format among the three countries, citing diplomatic sources without specifying any details. The first mention of such a format was made by British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss during a speech in Australia on January 21.

According to her, discussions regarding the collaboration between Great Britain, Poland, and Ukraine began during Zelensky's visit to London in December 2021.
