Ukraine and Turkey to Sign Free Trade Agreement in Two Days
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Ukraine will sign a free trade agreement with Turkey in two days. This was reported by the Turkish news outlet yeniakit.com.tr.
“We are preparing to give a powerful economic signal with the signing of the free trade agreement with Turkey in two days. Our teams are working, and I am confident we will reach an agreement,” Zelensky said during a speech in the Ukrainian Parliament.
During Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's upcoming visit to Ukraine, scheduled for February 3, negotiations are also planned on new cooperation initiatives aimed at increasing the bilateral trade volume between the two countries from the current level of $5 billion to $10 billion in a short period of time.
