Stepfather Murders 5-Year-Old Girl in Yekaterinburg

A man suspected of murdering a 5-year-old girl has been arrested in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Gazeta.ru reports this news, citing EAN and its own sources indicating that a criminal case has been launched against him.

The tragedy occurred on January 28 in an apartment on Moskovskaya Street. At the time, the girl's mother was not home.

According to an informed source, "The stepfather had a dispute with the girl's mother. While the woman was at work, the man vented his anger on the child. When the mother returned, her daughter was already dead. The girl died from traumatic brain injury."

On January 31, the man was taken into custody by law enforcement. He has admitted his guilt.
