Quarantine Duration for Vaccinated Individuals Reduced from 14 Days to 7 Days

The Ministry of Health has announced changes to the decision made on September 11, 2020, regarding the establishment of quarantine measures due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

According to the new amendments, the self-isolation period for fully vaccinated individuals in Armenia will be reduced from 14 days to 7 calendar days, while for unvaccinated individuals, it will be set at 10 calendar days. Starting from the 7th day after the sample collection for the PCR test, unvaccinated individuals may voluntarily take a PCR test, and if the result is negative, they can exit isolation.

The new regulations will come into effect on February 1 and will also apply to those individuals who are already in self-isolation at the time of the decision's enforcement.
