The municipality of Meghri in the Syunik Province has released a statement informing residents of the community that military shooting drills are taking place at the Russian border guard unit's firing range.

In the announcement, it is stated: “Dear residents of the Meghri community, we would like to inform you that there are ongoing shooting exercises at the Russian border guard unit's firing range. In case you hear the sounds of gunfire, we urge the public not to create unnecessary panic.”
