Body of Azerbaijani Officer Found in Karvachar

On January 31, joint search and rescue operations by the Azerbaijani Army and the Ministry of Emergency Situations resulted in the discovery of the body of missing Senior Lieutenant DFaoud Baghirov. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani news sources.

According to Azerbaijani media outlets, the officer's body was found in the Karvachar (Kelbajar) region. Three other individuals who were with him were discovered on Saturday and hospitalized at a military hospital. No information has been provided regarding their condition.

It is reported that the four soldiers became disoriented due to sudden changes in weather conditions and snowfall in the mountainous terrain.
