Minibus Accident in Mexico Leaves Casualties
A minibus carrying passengers overturned in Jalisco state, resulting in the death of thirteen people, with ten others injured, reported the civil protection service on Twitter, as covered by RIA Novosti.
Rescue and recovery operations at the site of the accident on the León-Aguazulcán highway have concluded. The information posted on the rescuers' blog indicates that eight men and four women, including two minors, were killed at the scene, while another individual passed away in the hospital. Ten people sustained injuries in the incident.
The driver of the minibus lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently fell into a well and overturned. According to civil protection services, all the deceased were Mexican citizens.
