We Have Tasks Ahead, We Will Celebrate Victories Yet: President of Artsakh
On the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, awarded a group of members of the Union of Artsakh Freedom Fighters with state honors.
Expressing gratitude for their patriotic service, Harutyunyan stated that the consequences of the 2020 war cannot divert Artsakh from the path of statehood.
"We did not lose through war; we lost because, in the course of 26 years of independence, our economy did not develop, the population did not increase, and we lost because we did not pay proper attention to our army," Harutyunyan remarked.
He acknowledged that there were numerous mistakes during the war but did not wish to discuss them.
"Our defeat in the Third Artsakh War is not the final outcome. We have tasks ahead, and we will celebrate victories yet. To achieve this, the republic will be guided by a new agenda," emphasized the President of Artsakh.
According to him, the new agenda focuses on living and multiplying within the country, developing the economy to ensure that life in Artsakh is honorable and desirable.
