The Armenia Alliance Issues a Statement

The Armenia Alliance has issued a statement on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the army's formation.

“The Armenian Army is thirty years old. The birth of our army was a necessity of the times; it was formed in the crucible of the liberation struggle, forged and solidified by defending our newly independent statehood, guaranteeing our security, and recording victories.

Over the past thirty years, our army has enjoyed the love and respect of the entire Armenian community, and has courageously and proudly strengthened our collective spirit.

Dear compatriots,

The Armenian army, being an inseparable part of our independence, is going through trials and facing serious challenges. It is impossible to rectify the wounded back of our state without an organized and battle-ready army.

We believe that together we will rebuild the spirit and combat readiness of our army, establish a dignified peace in our homeland, and keep our borders secure. We owe it to the Armenian soldiers who have sanctified our land with their blood, the mothers of Armenia, and the responsible generations ahead of us.

We must unite as a nation with a common will and determination to strengthen our statehood.

Congratulations on the holiday, Armenian Army. Glory to our heroes, the Armenian officer, and the Armenian soldier. Together, we will achieve new victories,” the statement reads.
