Another Armenian Soldier's Remains Found in Varanda

Search operations for the remains of soldiers and civilians who died or went missing during the 2020 military operations were conducted today by a rescue team in the Varanda (Fizuli) region.

The rescuers discovered and evacuated the remains of yet another Armenian soldier (a reservist and volunteer participating in military operations). His identity will be confirmed after a forensic examination.

It should be noted that from November 13, 2020, to the present, a total of 1,709 remains have been confirmed as a result of search operations and the exchange of bodies with the Azerbaijani side.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations will provide additional information on the upcoming directions and results of the search operations.
