He stated that the CSTO is ready to provide assistance to both Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan for the peaceful resolution of the conflict.

The situation at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border has escalated, with gunfire reported. This information comes from the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. In the part of the border in Batken region where tensions have intensified, the stationed border units have switched to enhanced duty.
