VIDEO: Aghajanyan on Mirzoyan and Rubinyan's Trip to Turkey
During a press conference with journalists, MP Eduard Aghajanyan from the ruling party responded to a question regarding whether the Armenian side confirms the statement made by Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, and if so, whether Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also travel to Turkey with Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and special representative Ruben Rubinyan. Aghajanyan stated, 'As of now, there is no final decision regarding participation.' He also mentioned that the Armenian side has not made a decision yet, which is why no official statement has been issued. There is no question of hiding anything, the MP added. Details in the video.
It is worth noting that Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu indicated that 50 ministers and representatives from 30 international organizations will attend the diplomatic forum in Antalya. Turkish news outlets report that, 'We have invited Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and special representative Ruben Rubinyan to the conference. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that those invited can participate in the conference. We would be pleased. This will be part of confidence-building measures,' the minister said.
