Which Countries Are Most People Coming from to Get Vaccinated in Armenia?
The ticket sales for countries where one can get vaccinated against coronavirus with vaccines approved by the WHO or the European Union reached maximum levels in December 2021. According to Ozon Travel, as reported by Armenpress, Yerevan has become the most frequently visited city for Russians in 2021 seeking vaccination.
Travelers from Moscow could come to Yerevan for vaccination in just one day as there are several flights available. Two vaccine types are offered to foreigners: Moderna and AstraZeneca. Both vaccines are two-dose, meaning travelers need to arrive twice, and after the second shot, a European vaccination certificate is provided, as detailed by the online service.
The company confirmed that tourists can get vaccinated at all mobile points in Yerevan. Registrations for the procedure can be done via the EarlyOne application. The average price of a one-way ticket has increased to 10,000 rubles during winter.
Russians do not need a visa; they can enter with an internal passport, and upon arrival, they must present either a PCR test or a vaccination certificate.
According to Hripsime Khachatryan, spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Health, those vaccinated with Sputnik V can also receive a booster dose of the vaccine in Armenia.
