VIDEO: "That Finger Should..." Insults and Tensions in the National Assembly
“I believe this will be a good opportunity for our opposition to understand in the future that when speaking about the establishment of the National Assembly, the deputies, and in general this institution, they should first and foremost think about who they are nominating as candidates for constitutional bodies,” said Sisak Gabrielyan, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Youth and Sports, and a member of the ruling Civil Contract party, after an incident that took place in the National Assembly today.
“Expressing oneself with a vulgar vocabulary while under the influence of alcohol only serves to hurt that very opposition which presented such a candidate,” Gabrielyan stated regarding Ruben Hakobyan, a member of the Public Television and Radio Board nominated by the “Armenia” faction.
