Response from the Presidential Administration to Hetq's Notable Publication

The Office of the President of the Republic has issued a statement, which notes: “By announcing his resignation, Armen Sarkissian drew the public's attention to the real problems and challenges facing the state, characterizing the situation in the country as a national crisis. Unfortunately, with publications like Hetq's, there is an attempt to once again divert public attention with a false agenda. Therefore, we reaffirm that the assessment of the moment and the real reasons for the president's resignation are clearly and fully presented in the text of the resignation announcement.”

It should be noted that yesterday’s article by Hetq stated that Armen Sarkissian was forced to resign, as he had been a citizen of Saint Kitts and Nevis. It is also worth mentioning that the Prosecutor's Office has sent the publication regarding Armen Sarkissian's citizenship to the National Security Service.
