Kazakhstan Authorities Have Learned Lessons from January Events, Tokayev Says
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has stated that the country's authorities have learned lessons from the events of January, and the nation will recover quickly. He made these remarks during an online summit involving leaders from Central Asian states and China.
“In the early days of January, Kazakhstan faced unprecedented bold and brutal aggression from terrorists and militants. As a state, as a country, we have drawn necessary lessons from those tragic events and will undoubtedly recover quickly,” Tokayev said.
He noted that the government is focusing on reforms in state governance, national security, and economic policy. “We have begun to build a new Kazakhstan,” Tokayev declared.
