Major Car Accident in Ararat Province Causes Significant Damage to Nearby Store

On January 23, a major car accident occurred in Ararat Province. Around 12:00 PM, vehicles driven by 35-year-old Semyon Ghazaryan from the village of Zorak and 29-year-old Lyudvig Avetisyan from the village of Geghanist collided on the Masis-Echmiadzin highway in the administrative area of Zorak.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Lada driver Lyudvig Avetisyan sustained injuries and was initially taken to the Masis Medical Center, where he received first aid before being transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center.

The photojournalist reports that following the collision, the Lada Priora veered off the roadway and crashed into the territory of a local market named '999', shattering windows and causing significant material damage to the store. A large number of products fell from shelves, property was damaged, and preliminary information suggests that the total cost of the damage amounts to several million drams.
