Driver Offered Money to Police Officers

On January 22, at 03:50, officers of the patrol service of the Yerevan Police stopped a "Honda" vehicle on Atuyan Street for inspection. It turned out that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

This information has been confirmed by the Police. To avoid having the vehicle towed away, the driver offered a bribe to the police officer. The patrol officers subsequently detained him and took him to the Malatia Police Department. An investigation is underway.
