Azerbaijan Hands Over Another Remains to Armenian Side
Azerbaijan has handed over another remains to the Armenian side. Search operations for the remains of soldiers and civilians who died or went missing during the 2020 military actions were conducted today by a rescue unit in the northeastern part of the occupied Artsakh, towards Mataghis.
The search efforts yielded no results in this area; however, in the afternoon, Azerbaijan transferred the remains of another Armenian soldier discovered in Qorot to the emergency state service in Shushi. His identity will be confirmed after a forensic examination.
It is noteworthy that since November 13, 2020, a total of 1707 remains have been found and confirmed. The emergency state service will provide additional information regarding the upcoming directions and results of the search operations.
