100 Percent Salary Bonus Granted Again in Armenian Parliament

In accordance with Articles 5 and 12 of the constitutional law "Regulations of the National Assembly" and Article 22 of the law "On the Remuneration of Persons Holding Public Positions and State Service Positions," I hereby decree:

  1. To award one-time monetary bonuses to employees and civil servants of the National Assembly staff in accordance with Appendices 1 and 2.
  2. To ensure the execution of the corresponding payments by the Chief of Staff and Secretary General of the National Assembly, V. Naribekyan, in accordance with the established procedure of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

This is noted in the decree signed today by Alen Simonyan. It is worth mentioning that bonuses were also granted to the National Assembly staff in December 2021, and on two occasions.

To clarify, Auroranews spoke with Alen Simonyan's spokesperson, Tzovinar Khachatryan, who stated that according to the "Law on Remuneration," public servants are compensated 100 percent of their salary once every six months. This is the legally regulated remuneration for the second half of the year, which must be provided by February 15.
