Clashes in Brussels as Police Use Tear Gas and Water Cannons
Clashes have erupted between police and protesters during a demonstration in Brussels. Law enforcement is deploying tear gas and water cannons against the demonstrators.
Protests against pandemic restrictions are taking place in Brussels, where tens of thousands have gathered at the North Station of the Belgian capital, holding placards with slogans such as "Democracy is Freedom" and "No to QR Codes." According to one of the organizers of the demonstration speaking to TASS, participants include residents from Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and representatives from many other EU countries residing in Brussels.
